My latest novel, Dark Fire, has only been out a couple of weeks, so it seems a bit soon to start talking about the next one. But I’m going to anyway because I’ve got something I’m excited to share.
My publisher has just finalised the artwork for Wildwood Rising, the concluding volume in The Blind Bowman trilogy. Here’s the finished cover in all its glory…

I’m delighted with this. I think it’s the best cover of the trilogy so far. The Blind Bowman is a dark tale, no doubt. As an epic retelling of the Robin Hood legends, it takes place in a primal forest full of gods and monsters, as well as a wasteland of man’s making.
But there is hope in the story too. This artwork perfectly captures its spirit of an ailing world renewing itself. Of nature abiding no matter what humankind might throw at it. Of light and life struggling through.
For those of you who are enjoying The Blind Bowman so far, I’ll be interested to hear what you think.
I’ve got one more thing to say about this upcoming novel – and that’s sorry! I’ve written elsewhere that Wildwood Rising is due for release in February next year. In actual fact, the publication date is May 8th 2025. That date is set in stone, so you’re safe to put it in your diaries!

That looks amazing!
Looks great, Tim! Dark tales indeed - I'm really enjoying the first book (yes, I'm a very slow reader...) and am currently in an especially dark part of the story. It's captivating me, in a way that books seldom do: am finding myself getting far less sleep due to staying up late to read one more chapter, for which I entirely blame you.
